congregated in Providence on Saturday despite the rain to express their disapproval of Donald Trump’s leadership and Elon Musk’s influence.

Ahlquist estimated turnout as comparable to the historic Black Lives Matter protest back on June 6, 2020, when more than 10,000 people marched in Providence.

I was particularly gratified to see Dan Denvir, co-chair of Reclaim Rhode Island and the alternate Uncommitted delegate to the 2024 DNC, publicly chastise Rhode Island’s congressional delegation — Senator Reed, Senator Whitehouse, Rep. Amo, Rep. Magaziner — for accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from the pro-Israel lobby and supporting continued arms sales to the state of Israel despite the horrific destruction of Gaza and its inhabitants.
