During my time in Colombia, the Committee to Protect Journalists put out a safety advisory for non-citizen media professionals traveling to the United States which warned of the potential for prolonged questioning at U.S. borders, device searches (i.e. the government demanding access to look through and potentially download information from personal smartphones and laptops), and denied entry into the U.S.A.
